Art in Clay Windsor is an outdoor summer event held at the Royal Windsor Racecourse which is set on the River Thames and in the shadow of Windsor Castle. We have been to the Art in Clay shows several times over the years and picked up some nice pieces of ceramics. We have several pieces from the likes of Sarah Cox, Mark Smith, and Tony Laverick. It displays some of the finest ceramics crafted by individual makers in the UK and Europe.

Art in Clay Windsor will be a new one for us. Art in Clay Windsor is a completely new venue. We have been to Art in Clay Hatfield and Art in Clay Farnham several times. This new event takes place on the 18th,19th & 20th August 2023. The perfect time to buy beautiful, unique pieces for summer. There will be a range of exhibitors from newly qualified and emerging ceramic artists, to established makers with many years of creative work behind them.

Art in Clay Windsor is owned and run by Valentine Clays, a UK-based clay manufacturing company with an international reputation. Hannah Ault will lead the team in this new venture for Valentine’s. Hannah comes with a wealth of knowledge, marketing and PR experience.

The aim of Art in Clay remains the same; to bring a wide range of ceramics and pottery to a new audience as well as the knowing collectors. Moreover, the things that can be crafted from clay are truly astounding. Within this event, you’ll find not just pots for everyday use in the kitchen and garden, but also exquisite sculptures and artwork that wouldn’t be out of place in a prestigious London gallery.

One of the unique aspects of this event is the opportunity to connect directly with the artists themselves. Buying directly from the creator offers a unique experience, allowing you to explore their passions and influences while gaining insight into the creative process behind the pieces that pique your interest.

Be sure to mark your calendars for the dates 18th, 19th, and 20th of August 2023. Stay tuned for upcoming announcements revealing further details about the exhibitors, ensuring an even richer and more diverse experience for all attendees
