Potfest in the Park
Potfest In The Park July 04 – 06 Sept 2020

This is a great show, held outside in the grounds of a Castle. Over 100 exhibitors invited from across Europe and beyond. All with very distinctive, individual styles. Set in the backdrop of Hutton-in-the Forest on the edge of the beautiful Lake District National Park. We have visited about 6 times over the years . Purchasing a few pieces of pottery along the way
Passionate About Clay
The ceramics festival takes place in and around marquees on the park land in front of the castle. The potters special competition pieces being displayed on the lawn, juxtaposing ancient architecture and modern ceramics.
The historic Cumbrian house located on the edge of the Lake District was at least 250 years old when it was bought by Lord Inglewood’s family in 1605. As well as a rich variety of architecture, furnishings and a beautiful garden, there are varied outdoor events during the summer, including the Plant and Food Fair, historic vehicles, The Wanasee Music Festival and Potfest in the Park.
