Hot Tip. Arrive early. If you are in the area when the parade is about to start, follow the crowd, the route will have a police presence, so ask the police where the route is. If you want the narrow streets at the top arrive very early. The narrow streets can only accommodate 1 person width on each side, so you will have no one pushing in front of you. Find an empty doorway or a doorstep to stand on. You could always find a bar on the route and stand outside it. Just like the locals did across from us.
