Indian Food in Tokyo Japan Bombay Sizzlers Tokyo

After a few weeks of sushi, ramen, and all things Japanese, we decided to spice things up—literally! We stumbled upon Bombay Sizzlers, and honestly, it felt like finding a little slice of India right in Tokyo. It was only a few minutes walk from the hotel
Authentic Indian flavours are brought to your table. Bombay Sizzlers can be found on the 1st floor of Tokyo Square Garden in Kyobashi, making it an ideal spot for Dinner. The skilled chefs from India prepare every dish to your liking, with options to suit everyone, including vegetarian and vegan menus. They proudly use only halal meat.
We started with Masala Pappad, a crispy lentil cracker topped with chopped onions and tomatoes and sprinkled with tangy chaat masala. It’s simple, light, and surprisingly addictive—the perfect little nibble to get you ready for the main course.

Sag Chicken Bombay Sizzlers Tokyo

First up for Clare was, Sag Chicken. Oh wow. This dish was so nice (I had to try some) chunks of tender chicken in a creamy spinach curry. The sour cream added this lovely richness, and the lime gave it a fresh kick. It’s the kind of dish that makes you sigh with every bite.
Chilli Chicken Bombay Sizzlers Tokyo

I chose the Chilli Chicken, and this one was packed with flavour. Crispy fried chicken tossed with onions and peppers in a sweet and spicy sauce. It was slightly sticky, very hot/fiery, and completely delicious. The portion was quite large, A good job that I was hungry.
The Perfect Indian Food Sides Bombay Sizzlers Tokyo

You can’t have a curry without naan, can you? The plain naan bread was soft and fresh, straight out of the tandoor, with just the right bit of char. And the steamed rice? Fluffy, light, and the perfect match for all those bold flavours. Simple, but it hit the spot.
If you’re in Tokyo and craving a change of flavours, Bombay Sizzlers is where it’s at. The food was full of spice and comfort, and honestly, it felt like a little break from the usual. The cosy atmosphere, friendly staff, and aroma of sizzling curry made the whole experience even better. It’s a little slice of India in Japan, blending two worlds beautifully.
Would we go back? Absolutely. But probably not for a few years as it’s not exactly close to the UK – unless someone wants to sponsor another food-finding trip!

Tokyo is famous for sushi, seafood, and its legendary fish markets. When Tsukiji Market closed its inner section in 2018, a new star rose — Toyosu New Fish Market. Sleek, modern, and buzzing with energy, Toyosu is where Tokyo’s seafood story continues with a fresh twist.
Here, tradition meets technology. Gone are the narrow lanes and chaotic charm of Tsukiji. Instead, you’ll find spotless walkways, glass viewing galleries, and a market that runs like clockwork. But don’t worry — the soul of Japanese fish trading still lives here. The tuna auctions remain thrilling, even from behind glass.
It’s not just about fish, though. Toyosu is a destination in itself. From sushi restaurants serving the morning’s catch to rooftop gardens overlooking Tokyo Bay, there’s plenty to explore. You can shop, dine, and even watch the city’s skyline shimmer in the distance.
Getting there is easy — just hop on the Yurikamome Line and follow the scent of the sea. Whether you’re a foodie, photographer, or just curious, Toyosu offers something special.
This isn’t just a market. It’s Tokyo’s seafood theatre — clean, efficient, and utterly fascinating.
